So awesome you grew up in a walking fam too. Ditto here.

We walked everywhere as kids, with the fam, unless the place was miles away. Walking is hardwired into my DNA. The habit continues now as when circling the globe, my wife and I eschew taxis and walk virtually everywhere, getting our cardio and saving some dough as well.

How wonderful to get a bit of exercise in and meet those neighbors. I found a local park with a great walking path recently, and enjoyed a leisurely walk over the weekend.
