Our priorities are so messed up. It is so hard to see and hear how most take for granted all they have. Such a great reminder.

Really enjoyed reading your experiences. Much needed perspective, especially just before Lent!

Hi Trina! If and when I hear back from Sister Lisa – I will ask her about what ages she brings – and I will let you know! Thank you for all your kind words!

I think it’s amazing of all the ways you are helping others. It only takes a few extra minutes to help someone in need by giving your clothes and unwanted goods to someone that really needs it. Thank you for sharing.

Awesome! A bag full of clothes means so much! When I was a teen, I would be thrilled when the girl up the street gave me some of her old clothes – seriously! It doesn’t have to be given to people far away to still make an awesome impact. Love that your church has that drive, and LOVE that you belong to a Life Group! <3 Thanks so much for commenting 🙂

Mission trips are not feasible for our family right now. But whenever we are purging clothes from our closet, we look for the closest Good Will, or church sponsored organizations. Our church has one of the biggest donation driven organizations around, so we take everything to them! Our Life Group at church has also been helping supply cold weather gear to the homeless in downtown Dallas.
