I remember saying it like a news announcer. It was like I was numb and didn’t know how to feel. We then started to hear of all the ways that our fellow Canadians reached out to help as planes were redirected to our airports and families taken in to stay in homes, so they would not be alone during this awful time and in what ever way we could. We cried with you.

It hadn’t started yet, and before it did, someone ran in and turned on the televisions at the front of the room. When we saw the second plane we thought it was a replay, but it wasn’t.
