I’m a new mom so I am a long ways off from having a teenager in the house, but this post was excellent. That’s a way of looking at that passage from Luke in a whole new way! It’s something for me to pray with in the future!

One thing I learned through the teen years with my daughters is that if you have set a great base (which I know you are doing) through childhood, then even though there is pushing of the rules and boundaries deep down the child knows what is right. Even though they seem like they have pushed away everything you taught them, it is still there and will serve them when they need it. Keep setting the base in childhood and the teens though hard – will be rewarding. God Bless!
