Description
Faith and Friendship are so important.
Community is a founding pillar of Christianity. We know that Jesus once said, “wherever two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in their presence”. But life is busy and the pandemic has certainly changed what was once considered normal.
Our need for faith and fellowship has not disappeared.
This guide will provide all you need to start small and hold a simple prayer group in your home and also equip you with plans to “go bigger” with one day pilgrimages and/or a day of reflection that is reverent as well as refreshing. Get started today . . . plan an event that will lift your spirits and your soul towards heaven!
There are 4 main types of “Prayer Wine Chocolate” Retreats
1.The Micro-Retreat
2.The “Prayer and Pair” Party
3.The Tour the Shrine then Taste the Wine Prayer Wine Chocolate Retreat
4. The Prayer Wine Chocolate Day of Reflection
This guide explains how to plan all four types!

You want to do something, sigh, but where to start? Pick up this guide and Amy will lead you from the simplest, call a few friends gathering to a full-blown event with guest speakers. What to do, what to serve, where to go, how to organize the flow of the event – all that is laid out in detail. I have planned many events and this guide will be a big help to you. I like that Amy notes supplies needed and options of what to include. IT is a great guide and very helpful, especially if you are new to event planning!

I just used Amy’s retreat guide to help me plan a mini retreat for the women in my parish. It was super easy to do following the guide and the response was incredible. For anyone who feels the pull of the Holy Spirit to plan something like this….Get the guide and DO IT!!!! Every single woman at the event said the same thing…We NEED this. I now have a team of women working on our next gathering.

We held a retreat for mothers with difficult fertility and pregnancy journeys and wanted to start with prayer and a social event. Prayer Wine Chocolate was the perfect Catholic retreat addition. We started out setting an intention for the retreat and praying the rosary together and then moved on to wine and chocolate. We were even able to get the wine donated. It was the perfect opportunity to set the tone, break the ice, and bind with other Catholic women. The retreat guide made it feel easy and possible. I liked the three different types of events with step by step directions to help guide the process. Amy was also easy to reach when I had questions along the way. I highly recommend doing this on even the smallest scale to bring the rosary and prayer into your “village” and women’s circle of support.
