Jessica Connolly
After converting to Catholicism in 2011, the birth of my second child, and 7 years practicing architecture in Austin, Texas, I decided to strike out on my own to pursue my passion for art and graphic design. Immediately I was hired as a contract worker at our parish to design the weekly bulletins and monthly newsletter and a contractor for another company in Phoenix, Arizona. I continue to pursue graphic design with clients nationwide in both the commercial, small business, and nonprofit sectors.
In the past year I have also opened an Etsy storefront and a Peter’s Square shop to sell liturgical calendars, sacred art calendars, fine art, and jewelry.
My desire for creative pursuits is coupled with my desire to serve God and others through design.

What type of wine is your favorite?
Italian wine would likely be my preference! But my husband and I both enjoy all the new varieties of hard cider as well.
What is your favorite chocolate?
Again, my husband has introduced me to world of dark chocolate. If it has orange or caramel in it, I’m sold.
What is your favorite prayer and/or quote?
As a convert, the rosary is still unfamiliar to me, though I appreciate it’s beauty and power. But I probably love the Divine Mercy Chaplet most of all.

What type of wine is your favorite?
Sweet if it’s white, dry if it’s red! But really, I’ll take a neat finger of amaretto or really really peaty whiskey over wine most days.
What is your favorite chocolate?
Something dark with sea salt. Or caramel. Or lightly raspberry flavored. Just not white chocolate. Yuck.
What is your favorite prayer and/or quote?
Right now my two favorites are by St. Francis de Sales:
“There is nothing so strong as gentleness; nothing so gentle as true strength”
and
“You learn to love by loving.”
What services do you provide?
I make beautiful things! I love to take custom orders for embroidery work, jewelry, and sewn items. A lot of my favorite items that I make offer personalization, like mama necklaces and Miscarriage/Child Loss Memorial Hoops.

Adrienne Thorne
I’ve been working to build a screenwriting career for the past six years, but advancing in it is a very slow process. So in the meantime, I share my passion for film and TV by writing reviews from a Catholic perspective on my blog, Thorne in the Flesh.

What type of wine is your favorite?
I used to like Sweet Red and Moscato best, but lately I’ve started to like Merlot.
What is your favorite chocolate?
A purple-packaged Austrian chocolate called Milka – I discovered it during my semester abroad in Austria while I was pursuing my bachelor’s at Franciscan University. The Oreo-cream-filled one is the best!
What is your favorite prayer and/or quote?
“Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” – JPII, Inaugural Homily.
What services do you provide?
I am passionate about creating uplifting and worthwhile film and TV, and therefore I am always open for hire by anyone who has the funds and the means to produce such content. On a more realistically practical level, I’m available for freelance website content writing and sponsored posts, as well as speaking engagements on media/film/TV related topics. I also do screenplay coverage and writing consultation for any fellow writers out there. Contact me for rates!
