Description
Catholic Prayer Journal Prompts help you slow down, spend time with God and grow closer to Jesus. These 40 prayer journal prompts are for you to use in any order you prefer.
These 40 prompts are perfect for Lent but can be used any time of year. This ebook gives the prompts that you can use in your own notebook or journal. Dedicating the time to prayer journal is a beautiful way to grow closer to Jesus and really allows us to see His hand in our lives more clearly.
I pray that these ideas revive your faith and move your heart closer to God. May the Lord Bless You Abundantly!
Another great way to prayer journal is to color a Scripture verse or a Saint quote! Find some of those in my Catholic Coloring Pages Download!
Julia Miller –
“A Little Indulgence for the Catholic Woman who gives away all the nice things–” is my title for this review. You know who you are. Giving gifts is your love language, and it’s second-nature for you to buy things for loved ones, and even for yourself that you can’t seem to keep. Another gift-giving opportunity arises, and it’s gone, wrapped in your cutest gift bag, with the nicest card from your stationery drawer.
Just last week I gave Amy Brooks’ “Be Yourself Journal for Catholic Boys” to three young men in my church family friends circle. Before gifting, I browsed and loved how creative and varied and fun the book was, and wished I had such a journal for myself, but then thought, “Who am I kidding? It won’t last 15 minutes in my hands before I put it in an envelope and mail it to a friend!”
These “40 (More) Prayer Journal Prompts” are on par with the many inspired ideas Amy puts into her published journals, bu because this is a download, I absolutely get to keep it. I don’t really want to divulge too much, but there are activities that will appeal to every personality type — writing, coloring, simple crafts, prayer prompts. And opportunities to draw near to Jesus, Saints, the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Mother. I can use any random notebook I have, or pull together some printer paper and bind it with card stock and hole-punch-yarn ties. Or I could print off the 14-page document one-sided, and do my writing on the reverse, and add in pages if I need the room.
I recommend this as a lovely Lenten companion, or to pick up any time you have a moment, but lack the inspiration to start a journal entry. It’s beautifully designed and thoughtful. And It’s something you can keep for yourself, and feel glad that you did. Also, a thoughtful gift! (For when you don’t have time to mail something!)
