9 Extraordinary Gifts for Beautiful Catholic Women

This post contains affiliate links with several businesses. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Gift giving is a love language of mine.  BUT, I HATE clutter!

It stresses me out and I find myself donated at least one bag a month to charity.

Gift to me are wonderful – but they need to be really special and often practical.

Here are some incredible products I know I would love!

9 Extraordinary Gifts for Beautiful Catholic Women

1. Miraculous Medal Necklaces

I love that Our Blessed Mother promised to send extra graces to those that wear her medal around their neck.  I don’t wear a lot of jewelry, but I have come to find and truly embrace a few different Miraculous Medal necklaces.  I wear on every day.

Some of my favorites are from Telos Art and Pink Salt Riot

and Boho Handmaids

This year Pink Salt Riot has an entire Mother’s Day Collection!

Read more about why I wear a Miraculous Medal here: Five Reasons Why I Wear a Miraculous Medal

2. Rosary Bracelets

There are some gorgeous, trendy, beautiful, amazing ones out there!

Here are my current favorites:

ChewsLifeOUR LADY GATE OF HEAVEN ROSARY BRACELET

I also love Give Love & Blessings and Relics by Rose

Read how the Rosary is a powerful prayer here: The Power of ONE Rosary and

how starting a Rosary group is a good idea here: Five Reasons to Start a Rosary

3. Coffee and Coffee Related Products

I recently saw an article that said something like “Why Coffee is Catholic”.  I didn’t read it.  I think I just shook my head yes, took a sip of mine and kept scrolling.  Lately, my life is more, “prayer, COFFEE, chocolate” if I’m keeping it real here.

I love these coffee mugs made by fellow Christians – and this sign made by Just Love Prints!

Last year my husband bought me two mugs from my friend Kristin’s shop (OneHailMaryataTime and ManyHailMarysataTime).  These are my “go to” mugs every morning!  My favorite is covered in quick prayers.  This year’s version is pictured above.  I love it!

My favorite Catholic mugs out there (yes, if you are shopping for me I want these) are Rakstar Design’s “Morning Has Broken, Coffee will fix it” mug.

And Fawnly’s Our Lady, Undoer of Knots Mug

(My husband even admits to liking that Undoer of Knots mug!)

4. Socks from Sock Religious

I own a pair but I also love them because they are great to give as gifts.  Our family started the “leave your shoes out for Saint Nicholas” tradition a few years ago.  This year I’m excited to put a pair of St. Nick socks in everyone’s shoes!  These are perfect for the feast of Saint Nick, but also for a family like ours who really loves an ugly Christmas sweater party!  Not that these socks are ugly at all – they just add to festivity of the season and make me smile 🙂

5. Helpful Journals

I was pleasantly surprised recently when I met with my Mom’s group and this book was given out by our leader.  A Parent Who Prays.  I’ve had my eye on it for some time.  Then, much to my delight, the author messaged me on Instagram and asked me to review her newest book A Spouse Who Prays

6. Joy in a Box 🙂

Each Joy Box is $85+ worth of PSR products for $25

with free domestic shipping ($12 international shipping).

Each box includes:

  • 2-3 5×7 art prints
  • 6 greeting cards (2 or more designs each box)
  • 2+ vinyl stickers (and I LOVE stickers – if you do to, please check this out: Catholic Sticker Heaven)
  • 2-3 pieces of jewelry, accessories, and other handmade goodies to give + keep
  • Surprises! (surprises have included an extra stickers, a printed gift bag, tattoos, and more!)

And there is a new gift box option that has me pouring over this website, often!

Telos Jewelry Subscription Box

What if, by the end of 2023 you, or a person you love, had a complete collection of jewelry from Telos Art Shop? Our liturgically themed Quarterly Subscription Box makes this dream a reality! Each quarter a new item will arrive in the mail with a unique piece of jewelry and a special note behind the inspiration of each piece. (Images depicted are an example only, final designs will be kept a surprise!)

Centered around the liturgical seasons, boxes will be sent within each quarter (April-May, July-September, October-December) with a theme related to a special feast day or celebration. By the end of 2023 recipients will receive four handmade gifts, including:

  • one set of earrings (sent with First Quarter Box in January)

  • one 16” necklace with Catholic medal

  • one stretch or bangle bracelet with Catholic symbolism

  • one 18” necklace with Catholic medal

Each box will also feature a bonus gift and will include an explanation behind the inspiration of each piece.

Items included in the box will be offered at a lower price within the subscription box and might not be available outside of the boxes themselves.

Select either the Gold Box or the Silver Box. Gold will feature yellow bronze or gold filled items. While the Silver Box will include sterling silver.

7. Holy Chocolate

Not only does this candy taste heavenly, purchasing Trappistine Quality Candy contributes to the support of the Sisters of Mount Saint Mary’s Abbey. Being sustained temporally allows us to continue our life of prayer, prayer for you and all the peoples of our world. You can even send the Sisters prayer intentions through their website – ask for prayers for the receiver too!

Holy Chocolate!

***follow Prayer Wine Chocolate on Instagram!***

8. Catholic Earrings

We could always use a new pair of pretty earrings!  And I have to confess – with the hope that someone will say that I am not alone – I often find my earrings in the washer :(.  I love earrings by Pink Salt Riot, Telos Design,  Rakstar Designs and Relics by Rose.  If my husband is reading this – please buy me these Hope Earrings from Pink Salt Riot!

The purpose of the St. Benedict medal is to call down God’s blessing and protection upon us, wherever we are, and upon our homes and possessions, especially through the intercession of St. Benedict. By the conscious and devout use of the medal, it becomes, as it were, a constant silent prayer and reminder to us of our dignity as followers of Christ. And that color pink – LOVE IT!

9. Catholic Blankets

I love a Catholic Blanket – both getting one and giving some!

It’s so lovely!  It’s so soft and it is a wonderful reminder to find comfort in prayer!!!

Honestly and truly, there is nothing like being in someone’s heart when that person is talking to God.  Prayer is such a blessing and extremely powerful.  Pray for the woman and the women that you love – it truly helps and makes a difference!

The Little Rose Shop has some beautiful blankets to choose from!!!

Infertility is a part of my life story… But so is Infertility is a part of my life story…
But so is hope, prayer and miracles.

One thing I know helped me through those dark, hard years were reading miracle accounts of others who had faced this same struggle.

I loved reading miracle stories about women and couples longing for a child or children.
The accounts that shared grief, despair and uncertainty but ended with a dream come true… oh how I rejoiced with them!

Reading these true stories gave me hope… if it could happen for others… why not us.

It felt like an eternity… but it wasn’t.

God gave us our miracle… then He did it again (and again).

It really is true… ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD!

Don’t give up.
One day, someone will want to hear your miracle story too…

I try to bring God’s light online as much as I can I try to bring God’s light online as much as I can… but THANK GOD others are also trying to do this too!
Here are a few people that have helped me see God more in this busy world lately:

1. Kristin Reilly over at @manyhailmarysatatime . I try to pray the Rosary with them in the morning and Kristin offers meditations and little prayers and this one “Thank you God for this beautiful life!” resonated with me SO MUCH! The reason why is because of what she said after the prayer… she said “if I turn this camera around you would wonder what are you talking about!?” In other words… there’s a mess… but life is still beautiful and it’s all a gift. I started looking at my family and saying, “Thank God for this beautiful life”! And oh the JOY!!!!! Thank you Kristin and Jill!!!

2. @siobhanfallonhogan has a podcast with @ewtnmedia called Catholics and Cappuccinos @catholicapps … the conversation with @patriciaheaton has more than one quote I’d like to share. Watch it and be assured… sometimes God says yes to BOTH!

3. @fatherdanreehil … if you are reading this THANK YOU! Wow, if you know someone who left the faith after the whole priest scandal… watch an interview with this priest. I highly suggest the one with @conorgallaghershow because I shared this clip with thousands of people… I’m not exaggerating… trust me, watch it. You’ll probably go down a rabbit hole like I did and honestly, it’ll refresh your soul.

4. The @catholicsonline community has so many inspiring, prayerful, persevering Catholics saying yes to God daily. Thank you @kyliemhein for turning my attention to Exodus 14:14 last week and @catholicwalkthewayeveryday for helping us increase our prayers for our priests.

Your turn… where have you found God online lately?

Ps. Did you come across any I mentioned?!

Highly recommend asking someone to pray the Rosary Highly recommend asking someone to pray the Rosary with you.

No matter what is on your heart and mind, you can ask Our Lord for anything and ask Our Lady to talk to her Son about it too.

Nothing is too big or small.

Life is hard, pray harder!

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. God speaks in the sil Jesus is my Lord and Savior. God speaks in the silence of our hearts. Mama Mary calms me so I can get to that quiet place and listen to and rest in Her Son.

Katie and I have been praying together for years… and 3 years ago she converted to Catholicism.
God does miracles, His mom likes to get involved ❤️

Praying the Rosary out loud with a friend is sooo amazing.

Highly recommend.

Holy Week with young children - bedtime Masses and Holy Week with young children - bedtime Masses and services are definitely not ideal… at least there weren’t for our family.

I once read or heard another mom suggest washing your children’s feet on Holy Thursday… she I tried it and my kids absolutely LOVED it!

In fact, they would ask to wash my feet!

Last year I took my 3 children (8 year old twins and 12 year old) to a Shrine as a sort of modified 7 churches visit.
It was like a holy adventure!

I had planned on taking them to 2 more churches but we stayed at the first place for awhile so we kept it to that one visit.

Holy Week offers many opportunities and invites much silence and contemplation, but young children make what is do-able different.

We want our children to see and understand God’s great love for us. I feel like these activities communicate that- at least partially.

Do you have suggestions for Good Friday or Holy Saturday?

If this was helpful, please share!

Did you notice the part of the Gospel yesterday th Did you notice the part of the Gospel yesterday that stated what happened once Jesus died on the cross? There was a certain part that caught my attention more this year than in years past.
Here is an excerpt:
“… the veil of the sanctuary
was torn in two from top to bottom.
The earth quaked, rocks were split, tombs were opened,
and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised.
And coming forth from their tombs after his resurrection,
they entered the holy city and appeared to many...@

That part about Saints rising and appearing to many made me wonder… did Saint Joseph appear to Mary? Did Saint Anne appear to her daughter as she mourned the loss of her Son?”

These were thoughts and questions I never had before.

After the Masses were over yesterday my nephew was baptized! My sister Theresa is his mother.
My sister Theresa was named after The Little Flower 🌹
I know a statue is not a person… but it looks like God and Saint Therese’ sent a wink from heaven yesterday… look who made sure she had a front row seat to the Baptism!

It’s interesting to see how the Saints have always been a part of the story.

I find such comfort that not only can I ask YOU to pray for me, but I can also reach out to the Saints and ask them to pray for me too.

By the way, if you ever need a parking spot, ask Saint Polycarp… he got us a great one yesterday in downtown Philly!
Someone once told me to ask him for help when looking for a parking spot. Her reasoning was “no one is asking him for anything” 😂 I’m telling you… it works every time I ask!

We are not alone.
If you need prayers- ASK
Ask your friends, family and call on the Saints!

What Saint has prayed for you before? I’d love to hear about it!
