She thought she may have been pregnant, but just to make absolutely sure, she went to Planned Parenthood to find out. She felt like the walls were closing in on her. She sat in the examination room and heard the words she did not want to hear: "Yes, you are pregnant". "Diana" … [Read more...] about Dear Beautiful Woman Considering an Abortion

Mocha, Mercy and Mondays: Counsel the Doubtful
When is the last time you were given "counsel"? When is that last time you offered "counsel"? When you hear the word counsel - what do you think of? I think of an attorney giving legal advice. But more often, I think of giving advice. But, before I write about a Work of Mercy, I read a little about it first. If you choose to read more, keep in mind the two men we lost loved playing hockey together. My Dear Friend, It's not fair. It's so not fair. As I sit here trying to think … [Read more...] about Mocha, Mercy and Monday: Comfort the Afflicited
Men and Diabetics like Easter Baskets Too!
Like many Americans, my husband has diabetes. He has to give himself four needles a day and he only eats food that has sugar as a first ingredient when he is experiencing a "low". In my opinion, he is very compliant - but he is also a "foodie". Having this illness is a difficult cross for him to carry. My heart goes out to any one with the disease - or with a loved one who has it. Even though … [Read more...] about Men and Diabetics like Easter Baskets Too!
